Good morning guys & dolls!
I am currently in Arizona having breakfast and journaling. Currently doing my press tour here in the good ol' homestate. I will be on KWSS 106.7 FM this early evening at 5 PM promoting the tour, the single and the CD. For those of you who want to listen in visit kwss1067.com or if you're in AZ tune to 106.7 FM. Afterward I have a magazine interview and then a gym session. I just started getting my upper body trained again so that I'm fit & healthy on tour this summer.
The press tour through California went AWESOME!! And thanks to those of you who were there to support, buy a copy of the single and hang out with us!! I started with a signing and release party at Girlie Designs in West Hollywood. The new TV show "The Release Party" was there to film it all and interview me for a new episode. I also visited 89.7 FM in Hollywood with Jeffrey Henderson and did an interview there and you guys are so amazing that the phone lines were lit up and busy from the time I walked in to when I left! I will have a copy of that inteview shortly to put up on my MySpace! (myspace.com/mandileigh)
We also caught a ton of video footage for my new podcasts! Those are coming soon as well. Lots of new stuff in the works. New videos, new music and the unveiling of the CD artwork and photos!

So Miss Mandi Leigh has the chance to open for the Kanye West concert in town in two weeks as well as perform at two huge shopping districts here in my homestate as well as nab a nifty huge cash prize, which never hurts ;)
I have submitted my single 'No Longer In Love' to KISS FM and they will choose ten finalists next week.
Here's where YOU come in ;) John Jay and Rich are the two BIGGEST DJs in AZ. I would LOVE if you took a few minutes and just sent a little note along to them saying you'd love to see me be a part of the 'Valley's Got Talent Competition'. I want them to see that I already have amazing fans (that's you! aw, don't blush!) making my dreams a reality, and that I could put on a great show before Kanye takes the stage.

Thinking
lots today in between promotion and working.
The show Friday night in Scottsdale went AMAZING. I opened the Runway Royalty/Ed Hardy Fashion show at E4 Nightclub. The place was PACKED! :) I performed 'No Longer In Love' and 'Wrapped Around My Finger' live on the runway. I will post photos once I get them from the photographer. But it was a total blast.. I can't wait to do more with the company I met.. they were awesome.
The tour starts in less than two months :) Waiting on all the details from Song Factory, but I will let you know guys know when I know :) Make sure to leave comments if you want me to come to your state! Ill also be putting up radio station info so you can request my tunes. ;)
I've been missing CA lots and can't wait to be back. I long to get my place there someday SOON. My mid-twenties are approaching and while most will tell me how young I still am I just want my little place on the beach to start the rest of my life. ;)
Hope to hear from lots of you soon, and I hope to see you guys in your cities on tour. I met SO many wonderful AZ fans at my show on Friday night. You guys are the BEST!!!

...Viper Room Blog
I got the photographs back from the Viper Room! So I wanted to journal about the day. All photos can be seen on www.myspace.com/mandileigh. I put up all the performance ones in an exclusive folder for you all to see if you are friends with me there.
So on to the day..
I stayed in Carlsbad the night before my show, it was a warm, beautiful, breezy day on Saturday. I awoke early and went for a jog on the beach, got some coffee and went to breakfast. I went and picked up my outfit for the show, SO cute. The shirt was Chopper Couture, and the shoes we're ADORABLE. They are hard to see in the photos but they are completely rhinestoned out. Show shoes for sure, but adorable none the less. Afterwards I got ready and rehearsed in Carlsbad and we made our way to Hollywood around 4 pm.
On the way to the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf on Sunset, to get my traditional tea & honey, we saw Jack Nicholson having a martini. With some encouragment I was told to go talk to him and invite him to my show. I've been around and met a million celebrities, it's just different when you are inviting an A-Lister to your show down the street. hehe.. I went and talked to him and he was such a sweetheart! I gave him four comp tickets for him and his family to come check out the show. I still think its funny. ;)
At Coffee Bean my phone rang while I was in line, it was my friend Erin. She was driving down Sunset on her way to work at the Key Club, and she said she saw my name on a marquee on Sunset and had to call. I was SO excited, I think I scared a couple people in line, but that's ok. It was my first marquee in the city of Hollywood. I'm allowed to freak, a little. ;)
We proceeded to take a billion photos of the venue outside, and my photographer got over 200 of the performance. The show went amazing! At first they had a technical difficulty, playing my song at like half-time and the pitch was obviously HUGELY OFF, but it was fixed in the first song and they apoligized profusely once I was off stage, so all is forgiven. I performed all my pop/rock material including BRAND SPANKIN' NEW stuff and the classics. That's what you can expect on the album, a lot of live music in the studio, rocked out up-tempos and acoustic ballads.
Afterwards I networked and then met up with friends for late night asian food in Burbank. It was a great show, great trip. Make sure you check out the photos and let me know what you think!!

If it's still in the Top 5 next Tuesday night Forbidden will play it live on her show and I have a chance for an on-air interview with Forbidden herself about the CD!!

that show, so I'm really excited. Then Saturday I will be on the track at Nascar
as a celebrity RaceGirl.. if you're there I'll be with the pink RaceGirl car
on the track, and if you're at home watch for us on ESPN.

Hello, hello all!!
I know those of you checking in on the journal are wondering how the show at
the Viper Room went on Saturday night .. and well.. it went AMAZING!! I will
have a posting about it with MANY, MANY photos and little anecdotes but this
post is just a quick one.. I recently shot a two page layout for Sport Truck
Magazine and wanted to share some photos with you guys! It will be on newsstands
nationwide this summer, it's my first major spread as a print model so I was
quite excited. :)
Also! I am on Forbidden Radio now! Your votes will get
me more play and possibly a live interview with Forbidden as well as a spot

Hello! Hello! This is a late night post.. I've been going all day with rehearsal, show prep and clothes fittings for this weekend, so here it is midnight.. I just recently had dinner (healthy I know..) and thought I would write a journal entry to all before I signed off and finished working before bed.

Good afternoon! :) My songwriter of "No Longer In Love", Shawn, was in Walmart the other day and took a photo of "The Utopian Society" on the shelves and I wanted to share! It's such an amazing feeling..
I have not seen it at our Walmart or Best Buy yet, they are still waiting on our shipment, I'll post more photos when I see it though! :)

Hello guys! Welcome to the new journal at MandiLeigh.com! I wanted a place to write on the site to let everyone know what was going on from home & on the road.. I will also be adding video diaries here as well. We have footage from my last two concerts coming soon from The Waterfront in Chandler, AZ and Over Coffee in Surprise, AZ. I am currently doing a small tour through Arizona until I leave for the national "Utopian Society" Promo tour with Polyphonic/Warner Bros. this summer. I am so excited to tour the U.S. and see lots of you guys who have been supporting the film!
Thank you so much, I am officially an artist on iTunes now which feels AMAZING! Make sure when you guys download "No Longer In Love" or the soundtrack you leave your reviews. It's always great to know what you guys think of the music.
I've been performing new music at the shows lately and giving away free goodies, like song downloads and free copies of my songs. Just a way to say thank you to all of you who come out and support.
Also, remember to check out the new photos in the gallery. I recently did a shoot with Mainstage magazine, and they wrote a wonderful article that will be up on the site soon.
Well back to rehearsals, I will be doing the National Anthem for the Brewers Vs. Mariners game on March 9th in Glendale, AZ. Come visit and check it out if you're in the area!!
