Mandi Leigh, alongside Official Version, to open for Ledgendary Band Berlin. 

PHOENIX, August 03, 2011 -- Rising Pop/R&B music star, Mandi Leigh, announced today that she will be joining the electronica/alternative band Official Version on stage to open for the legendary group, Berlin. Mandi is the latest addition to the show following the recent announcement that Official Version would be the opener for the popular 80’s music group. Mandi will perform “Automatik” and “Our Night”, two of her collaborations with the groups lead singer Jason Allen, live on stage on September 3rd, 2011 at 8:30 pm, at the Canyon Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.

“Automatik” is an addictive electro-pop/synth track with a lot of energy.”Our Night” is more an epic love ballad. They are both strong collaborations between two very gifted vocalists and writers. This track is a bold and different move for Mandi, who’s debut album “BLVD.” takes a consistent ride through pop and r&b. “BLVD.” has gained great momentum, most recently winning Ms. Leigh “Album Of The Year” through the Starshine Music Awards in NYC, as well as solidifying her as a true up-and-comer in the industry. "It’s nice to see our artist testing different avenues of what they can do musically." says G Miller, a member on Leigh's team.

Mandi is also scheduled to shoot her music video for, “Home Suite Home”, one of her last singles off of BLVD. before the new album releases later this year or early 2012. This will mark the third collaborative effort of Mandi Leigh and Official Version. The groups lead singer, Jason Allen, will be taking hold of the directorial reigns.

Mandi Leigh Announces First Music Video From BLVD.
It has been announced today that film director Michael Jason Allen has been attached to direct "Home Suite Home" from Ms. Leigh's BLVD. album. "I'm SO excited to shoot a beautiful video that will truly capture the films story of longing & love." says Leigh. Production is said to start in August with the video making it's television and online debut by late fall.

Last month you heard Ms. Leigh on Furyus "My Thoughts" album with their inspiring piece "Hope", now available on iTunes. Writing The Sophmore Album
Mandi is currently breaking ground on her sophmore album. "I'm taking some time off from shows right now and really getting down and finding the story I want to tell in this second album. I'm definetly digging a little deeper and speaking on messages and things I really need to say or that were hard to say on the first album." She says. The release date is unknown at this time. In the meantime, check out her BLVD. album if you havn't grabbed a copy. It's a delicious summer guilty pleasure. Especcially the tracks "Girls Out" and "Behind Closed Doors", a good time for all.

Mandi Leigh, along with NVE Records label CEO Devon Dotson and hip hop artist Furyus have collaborated to form MDT - the Musical Dream Team. A songwriting company based in San Diego County. Currently working on projects for the NVE Camp as well as NeYo, Leona Lewis and many more MDT is currently seeking professional musicians and songwriters to collaborate. 

Mandi's "The Hope Tour" kicked off in Goodyear, AZ this past weekend; headlining a successful benefit concert for Save The Children. The benefit titled "Walk The Talk" raised money for the victims in Japan. More dates coming up for Ms. Leigh along the west coast this spring.
