Gloss: How did you get into singing?
Mandi Leigh: I've been singing since I was a little girl. I've been doing shows since I was five and I got into it more seriously when I was about 16. I went to a local studio in Arizona and recorded a demo and just started sending it to people.

Gloss: Is there anything you hope to achieve with your career?
Mandi Leigh: I want to share my music with people mainly. I'd like to write my own stuff to send out my own message. And I would love to work with as many charities as possible. That would mean a lot to me. I am actually working with one right now, called Kids with a Cause. It's an organization just to help children of all kinds. Basically, what we do, a bunch of actors, actresses, performers..... we do events and performances. We go to children's hospitals. It's just all about helping kids, so I was very honored to become a part of that.

Gloss: Who are some of you inspirations of role models?
Mandi Leigh: Definitely Jennifer Lopes, just because of everything she's accomplished with her career. I think she's covered pretty much everything you can do. And Brandy, just because she is so down to Earth and talented.

Gloss: If you could work with anyone in the entertainment industry, who would you want to work with?
Mandi Leigh: Production wise, probably Ja Rule. I would love to collaborate with him. I would love to sing with Craig David. I would love to work with Jennifer Lopez on anything. Who else? Wade Robson. I'd love to work with him. There are probably a billion people I would love to work with.

Gloss: If you weren't singing, what other careers would you be interested in?
Mandi Leigh: It would definitely be something in the industry. It would be something creative, wether it be designing clothing or writing. Basically anything creative, because that id the type of person I am.

Gloss: What do you thing is the best and worst thing about being in the entertainment biz?
Mandi Leigh: The best thing is probably being able to reach so many people. The worst thing is being away from family so much.
