Mandi Leigh, next big thing?

from this upcoming pop diva. Adriane took the time out for a little chat with
Mandi and found about her new single, her wishes, and -- a girl's greatest friend
-- fashion! We think you might just like to check this one out!

Amplified Magazine: How old were you when you started singing?
Mandi Leigh: Three.

AM: Let's pretend you could switch places with someone in the music industry
who would you switch places with and why?
ML: JLO. Just because she has the status that I dream of having someday.
She has done so many things, and accomplished so much.

AM: What was the first thing you think when you hear one of your songs
completed?
ML: It's an amazing feeling. Very accomplished.

AM: Who, in your musical career, can you not live without?
ML: My mother. She is my big supporter.

AM: How influenced are you by the outside world?
ML: Not very. I don't go along with this because other people think I
should do it or because other people are doing it. I just be myself and if I gain
fans from doing that, then it's the right way to do it.

AM: What's the most inspiring thing a fan has done for you?
ML: Probably a book of songs & poems I received. I get a lot of those and it's
really sweet. It's my favorite thing.

AM: If you couldn't sing, what would you be doing?
ML: Definitely something creative, in the industry. Writing novels, or dancing.

AM: Do you plan on touring anytime soon..
ML: There are tentative plans.. but I'm not sure yet..

AM: Do your parents support your career?
ML: Oh definitely, yes.

wants to know.. What advice would you give to an aspiring singer?
ML: Definitely work on your voice as much as you can. Try to promote yourself
as much as you can, get yourself out there.Don't listen to people who put you
down and just believe in yourself.

AM: Kellie in New Mexico: How concerned about beauty are you?
ML: Somewhat, because of the image in the industry. But true beauty comes
from the inside. If you exude that from within yourself, you'll be fine.

AM: Tracy in New Jersey: What artists have inspired you?
ML: Whitney Houston, JLO, Craig David.
